Luka the dog, whose name sounds similar to Laika, also a dog, but was shot into space.

I had a dog once. Well, I had a couple of dogs. What’s upsetting is that they were always my dogs, as to say that no one else wanted to take responsibility for them.

Unfortunate to say

Something I wrote a while ago:

It was raining
It was raining. She liked the rain. Actually she liked ways in which to distract herself from the grey shade of despair that loomed over most of her life. The thick clouds in the air seem to offset the sickly colour which happened to be a very crude metaphor for her pale life.
